Our Cycle Sisters Croydon group runs rides on alternate Saturday and Sunday mornings. Rides meet at 9.45am for a 10am start and generally return by 12.30pm.

As long as you can pedal, balance and steer, you are welcome on our rides! We have a team of friendly and supportive Ride Leaders who run the rides and make sure that everyone is safe and taken care of.  We ride at a gentle, sociable pace with plenty of chatting and time to enjoy our surroundings. All our rides have a cafe stop which is also an opportunity to get to know your fellow sisters as well as enjoying some tea and cake!

Booking is essential for all our rides and details are posted on  our WhatsApp group - email to be added to our WhatsApp group.

Details for start points and bike availability is as below:

Saturdays - start from Croydon Arena with a limited number of free bikes to borrow.

Sundays - start from Norbury Park with no bikes available to borrow, own bike only.

Our Croydon group rides are mostly steady rides (6-12 miles). Typical destinations include South Norwood Country Park and Lloyd Park.

"When I started cycling I didn't see any women cycling in abaya (traditional Islamic dress) and I thought I would stick out from the crowd. After joining Cycle Sisters I realised that actually you can cycle in all types of everyday clothes and there was no stopping me!”
