The Media Lead responds to media enquiries and pitches stories of inspiring Muslim women to the media.

The women of Cycle Sisters are inspiring role models and change-makers! They are ambassadors for Islam’s message about taking care of health, wellbeing and the environment.
The representation of Muslims in the media is overwhelmingly negative and one-dimensional. When it comes to Muslim women, there is a disproportionate focus on clothing rather than individuals, their stories and achievements.
Cycle Sisters works to get more positive stories about Muslim women and communities in the media, ensuring that our voices and experiences are better reflected.
We share the stories of the everyday superheroes from our communities, whether they’re leading powerful change in their communities as volunteer Ride Leaders, or raising money for charity by taking part in epic cycle challenges.
