Hounslow
Our Cycle Sisters Hounslow group runs rides on Sunday mornings and fortnightly on a Wednesday morning. Both rides meet at 9.45am for a 10am start and generally return by 12.30pm.
As long as you can pedal, balance and steer, you are welcome on our rides! We have a team of friendly and supportive Ride Leaders who run the rides and make sure that everyone is safe and taken care of! We ride at a gentle, sociable pace with plenty of chatting and time to enjoy our surroundings. All our rides have a cafe stop which is also an opportunity to get to know your fellow sisters as well as enjoying some tea and cake!
Booking is essential for all our rides and details are posted on our WhatsApp group - email hounslow@cyclesisters.org.uk to be added to our WhatsApp group.
Our Sunday group rides start from Osterley Park and we have a limited number of free bikes available to lend out for our rides courtesy of Osterley Park bike hire.
Our Wednesday group rides start from Hanworth Air Parks Leisure Centre where we also have a limited number of free bikes available to lend out for our rides courtesy of Hounslow Council.
Our Hounslow group rides are mostly intermediate rides (6-15 miles). The first Sunday of the month and third Wednesday of the month are beginner rides (3-6 miles) and we also do an occasional longer challenge ride (15+ miles).
Typical destinations include Syon Park, Chiswick and Bushy Park.
