Cycle Sisters is looking for a Business Development Trustee to join our board. We are looking for someone with high-level experience of business development who can provide leadership to Cycle Sisters on growing a charity/third sector organisation. This individual will play an essential role, supporting the CEO in scoping out new opportunities and enabling Cycle Sisters to generate income from diverse sources.
About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of Muslim women and girls, through supporting Cycle Sisters’ growth and development.
Our Trustees serve a term of three years (with the possibility of reappointment). The Board meets 3-4 times a year during weekday evenings (meetings take place on Zoom). In addition to this, we anticipate that the successful candidate will need to contribute around 4-6 hours a month to helping the charity succeed.
As a small charity, we are looking for Trustees who are willing to play a more hands-on role, including at times taking a lead on certain tasks. The Trustee role at Cycle Sisters is varied and interesting, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills and raise your profile according to your own interests and goals. Expenses incurred through your Trustee role will be paid in line with our policies.
